Even if your air filter is new you may be using one that s too restrictive for your system such as one designed to remove pollen and allergens.
Attic air handler running constantly.
Due to the chocked filters or blocked duct or maybe for whatever reason if the air flow is restricted then there will be chance of sweating.
As the air flow is reduced the temperature of the air goes below the dew point and causes sweating.
Again it doesn t run constantly.
Your thermostat is set to keep it running.
It s an abnormally hot day.
Consider raising your thermostat to a more reasonable level.
Goodman attic air handler constantly running.
Less frequent starts and stops of the fan can reduce the stress from startup and potentially help extend it s lifespan.
Typical items that clog condensation lines are algae muck and trash like insulation from the attic.
For better air flow use a filter with a lower merv value.
Keeping the fan on creates a more even distribution of heating and cooling circulating the air if you have cold or hot spots in your house like a bedroom above a garage.
And the compressor is an expensive part you don t want to replace.

I haven had a chance to check out the control board but hopefully they is something i came change to disable this behavior.
Your air conditioner can only handle a specific temperature difference between your home and outside.
If your thermostat is set at 65 degrees and it s 95 degrees out your air conditioner will have to run constantly to try and keep up.
Without enough air flowing over the coils the system can t remove humidity and cool the air to the set temperature so it keeps running when it shouldn t.
What you should do.
This is a horizontal flow air handler installed in the attic.
Pros to running fan on air conditioner continuously.
Also slightly visible is a float switch which offers triple protection against flooding in an attic if the primary drain were to plug up.
So you may think of changing the filters or cleaning the air handler ducts to solve the problem.
This is the secondary condensation pan which is installed under the air handler to save a ceiling.
Only when it s hot and the thermostat is set to off will the fan activate on its own.
This constant running will reduce pressure in the evaporator cooling coil until it freezes over.

This is dangerous because the freezing can cause liquid refrigerant to flood back to the compressor and damage it.
It s important to note that on extremely hot days you should expect your air conditioner to run more often than usual.
If your air handler is in an attic it should have a secondary pan to catch the water in case the primary condensation pan or condensation drain line gets clogged.
